Minnesota Fringe Festival- Jeremy Ahrens Review: The Minnesota Fringe Festival dimes itself the 10 most unruly days of summer. It's not all that. The Fringe Festival is just like the drama queens that organize it. Boring and over-hyped.
Going to a Fringe Festival event is like talking to the annoying theatre girl at a party. She just keeps talking. You listen because she is somewhat hot. Plus she is wearing a unitard. And it might be fun to make out with her a little. But she will never stop talking. And thus, the annoying theatre girl that is sort of hot is the Fringe Festival. Unitard included. Advice: Go to Coney Island instead. It's like, authentic. Last Year's Party: I went to one performance. There were more actors than people in attendance. The two people that sat next to me were related to someone performing. They seemed a bit embarrassed by this fact. Then the Dad hugged me. I asked him if he hugs strangers often. He answered yes. I asked him if he thought his penchant for hugging strangers may have contributed to the fact that his 35 year old son was just on a stage wearing a unitard. He answered yes.
